The experience

What are Jury Games?

Jury Games are 90-minute immersive crime-solving games. You become the jury: examine the evidence, question characters played by live actors, work with your fellow jurors and cast a verdict.

Is there a difference between Jury Duty and Jury Games?

Jury Games is the company that makes Jury Duty. Jury Duty is the original case - a man on trial for arson and murder - which is still widely performed today.

How long is it?

The game lasts 90 minutes. Check your booking confirmation for arrival instructions.

How interactive is it?

You can question the defendant, compare notes with other jurors, dig into the evidence, or take a quieter role and listen. Everyone gets a vote.

Do I have to act?

You don’t need to act or learn a script. There is room for jurors who want to ask lots of questions and dive into the detail, as well as those who would prefer to sit back and observe. You are welcome to watch and listen, though we encourage you to use your vote at the end.

Can I play Jury Duty more than once?

We don’t recommend replaying the same case once you know what really happened. We have three cases, with more on the way, so there are plenty of options for a return visit.

Does the show use special effects?

No. The game centres on live performance, evidence and discussion. Please contact us before booking if you have a sensory or access concern.

Booking & your visit

Where do Jury Games experiences take place?

Jury Games is currently based at 202 Blackfriars Road in central London, SE1 0XH, less than one minute’s walk from Southwark tube station. The current venue for your performance is always shown in the booking calendar and your booking confirmation. Check your confirmation before travelling.

Can I buy just one or two tickets?

Yes. Choose a public session and buy however many places you need. You’ll play with the other jurors booked into that session.

How do I book a private session?

Choose a private session in the booking calendar and book the required number of places shown there. Once booked, that session is exclusively for your group.

Can a group come to a public session?

Yes. Book all of your places in the same public session. Other players may also be part of your jury unless you book a private session.

Is there an age restriction?

Jury Games are designed for players older than 13 years. All our cases deal with deaths and some violence, so we recommend keeping this in mind for younger players.

I have an access requirement. What should I do?

Please contact us before your visit via the contact form or at info@jurygames.com. We’ll confirm the arrangements for your performance and do what we can to make the experience comfortable.

Ask about access
I am concerned about content that may be in the experience.

Please contact us before your visit via the contact form or at info@jurygames.com. Full content notes are available for all of our cases. Violence against children, and sexual violence of any kind, do not feature in any Jury Games experiences.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, our staff will be expecting you by name. Please make sure you note the email address you used when you booked, as this will be checked in the event of any confusion.

Do you do private, corporate or larger bookings?

Yes. We can bring a Jury Games case to your office or another venue, as well as host you at our venue. Tell us where and when you are thinking, and how many participants.

Online shows

Can Jury Games be experienced online?

Yes. Jury Games was originally started online during the 2020 lockdown, and we still run private online Jury Games for groups. You play together over Zoom, work through digital evidence and interact with live performers, just like in the live experience. Public online performances are not regularly scheduled, so contact us if you’d like to arrange one.

About online shows
What do I need for an online show?

A computer with Zoom and a reliable internet connection is best. A second device can be useful for looking at evidence, but it isn’t essential. You will not need specialist technical skills.
